After a recent logo refresh, Locate East Sussex were looking to make a splash with a brand new website that would instantly connect with a diverse, yet engaged audience. After an extensive credentials pitch win, we set out to establish Locate East Sussex as the go to organisation for businesses in the South East.
We approached this by strengthening their digital brand with a new suite of assets, and a website that would evolve their visual communication, with consistency and confidence that would help to showcase them and the county in more ways than one.

The site is easy to use and looks great! The style and illustrations bring warmth and personality to the site and show how creative websites can be. The performance results are strong, and the design led approach shines through. It made me want to relocate to East Sussex!

To effectively communicate with each visitor type, a dedicated user hub was devised to deliver relevant and focused content. Stripping back the unnecessary was a must to ensure high engagement, no matter the industry, location or business level.
CAPTIVATING THE BRAND THROUGH CONTINUITY.
To evolve the brand beyond the basics, a suite of assets were developed to infuse all brand communications. Icons, graphics and engaging illustrations were introduced to bring life and context to the brand.
ENHANCING BRAND ENGAGEMENT THROUGH CONSIDERED USABILITY.
The core chevron mark was developed to become an integral device that bleeds through all brand elements.
CUSTOMISABLE MODULES THAT CREATES TAILORED ADAPTABILITY.
With a vast array of content types to communicate, it was imperative for the website and digital brand experience to have a flexible approach to content visualisation. To tackle this, a series of custom modules were designed, enabling the team to build engaging pages that are tailored to the subject matter.
Working alongside local photographers like Caitlin Lock, unique imagery enhanced both the strategic and visual direction of the brand. Showcasing a variety of businesses, alongside locations enhanced what East Sussex as a county has to offer.
