In a crowded, competitive and cut-throat market, two estate agents were looking to escape the mundane and make a splash in the ever changing housing market.
To create a brand that instantly challenged the norm, and changed perception on the south coast. As a fresh new start-up, and initially nameless, Made wanted to hit the ground running by offering something different to the more established. A brand that epitomises confidence, and understanding to what is often a stressful process. Creative that is clutter free was imperative, where an approach to underpinning the knowledge and expertise of not only being able to sell your house, but also buy your home was at the forefront of the idea.
A brand built around the idea of floorplans, the foundations of the home were a key consideration behind the creative thinking, where a structured approach to communications builds intrigue and sets a clear differential and benchmark for the industry.
Born and raised in Hastings, the brand not only needed to reflect the team behind Made, but also encapsulate the town in more ways than one.
Creative, family orientated and one of the 'in' places to be, were driving factors behind the identity. A strong, and bold colour palette that is representative of the architecture in the town, combined with imagery of houses and prominent aspects of the surrounding area were key brand considerations to draw the in coming crowd from London and beyond.
Originally a team of two, Made have consistently gone from strength to strength. Regularly ranked number one on Rightmove and now a team of six, it’s their passion for putting people first and their attention to detail that is clearly changing the perceptions of their industry. But when coupled with a strong and limitless brand it’s the vision that is established from the outset that really set the foundations for continued success. Something that is clearly evident at Made.
Being a new start up, we were hungry to achieve big results, and change the shape of the common stereotypical estate agency. We needed creatives who understood that we wanted to challenge, and lead from the front. Not just follow the crowd. Twelve Yards Out have been great from day one, and instrumental in helping us to achieve our goals, with a brand that is loved by us, and the people of Hastings.
The brand has not only given us the foundations to progress, but it has changed perception, allowed us to flourish, and enabled us to communicate ourselves in a way that we never thought was possible.
